Hello everyone
i was spent my long weekend in Malaysia
first i landed, i was starving and need lunch near airport
when i googled i found Serabei Cafe in Putra Jaya Area. Serabei Cafe is in Lot A2-3-GA, Ayer@8, Jalan P8 G/13, Putrajaya 62000,Malaysia.
Outlet
Serabei Cafe is not too big, they just have several tabel and i counter for order. like its name "cafe" they designed their outlet more like minimalis cafe with cute ornament on their windows.
may be it was not to big but i feel cozy and friendly with this cafe.
i was ordered
Serabei Rice with Roasted Lamb. this Serabei Rice taste more like Uduk Rice in Indonesia but with cute blue color this dish has its own characteristic. the lamb is easy to cut and not smelly
my other office friends were ordered serabei rice with black paper crab and chicken and Tim Laksa.
in one set Serabei rice they served with sambal, fish cracjers, shaved coconut, salted egg, and fresh vegetables. i like their shaved coconut and sambal!!!
for drinks we order tarik tea cold and hot. i was prefer hot back there. hihihi
Dessert
their signature dessert were Lompat tikam and Serabei
Lompat Tikam was more like Sumsum Porridge in Indonesia but not too sweet and they served it with a beautiful colors which good in my pictures. hehehe
Serabei was like ordinary serabi in Indonesia but more chewy and more liquid sauce. i like it though.
but from this two i prefer Lompat tikam.
their owner is really frendly and their waiters served us fast. like when we wait for table they arraged it really quick, less than 5 minutes i think
